The analysis identified the top 5 batsmen by total runs scored, along with their respective impact scores. A bar chart has been generated showing each batsman's run tally, color-coded by their impact score, making it easy to compare both performance metrics at a glance. A data table is also available with the detailed breakdown.
The analysis produced two visualizations comparing team batting lineups across total runs, total impact, and number of top batsmen. A grouped bar chart shows each team's total runs versus total impact side by side, making it easy to spot which teams dominate both metrics. A scatter plot maps teams by total runs (x-axis) against total impact (y-axis), with bubble size reflecting the number of top batsmen — giving a holistic view of lineup depth and effectiveness.
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (RR) tops the list with 316 runs scored purely from boundaries — 31 fours and 32 sixes — making up an impressive 88.52% of his total 357 runs. Two stacked bar charts and detailed data tables were generated showing the breakdown of fours vs. sixes runs and boundary percentage for the top 10 batsmen.
The analysis ranks batsmen using a consistency score: fifties × 1 + hundreds × 2 − ducks. Two batsmen tied at the top with a score of 4.0 — Sanju Samson (CSK) with 2 hundreds and 0 ducks, and Shreyas Iyer (PBKS) with 4 fifties and 0 ducks. Two charts and data tables were generated showing the breakdown of fifties, hundreds, and ducks for the top 10 most consistent batsmen.
Impact score and runs show a moderate positive correlation of 0.453, meaning runs are a meaningful but not the sole driver of impact. Two visualizations were generated: a scatter plot showing each player's runs vs. impact score with a regression line indicating expected performance, and a bar chart ranking players by how much they over- or under-perform relative to their run tally. Players above the regression line deliver more impact than their runs alone would suggest, while those below it are underperforming relative to expectations.
The analysis identifies batsmen who combine high strike rates with strong batting averages (defined as at or above the median average of 47.14). Two visualizations were generated to help explore this: a bubble scatter plot showing Strike Rate vs Average for all batsmen (with bubble size representing total runs scored and color by team), and a grouped bar chart comparing strike rates and averages for the top 10 performers. Reference lines mark the median strike rate and median average, making it easy to spot players in the high-performance quadrant.
The correlation matrix heatmap has been generated for all 9 batting metrics. The analysis reveals clear patterns in how these metrics relate to each other, with some strong positive and negative correlations worth noting.
The IQR outlier detection analysis was completed for strike rate, average, and balls faced. No batsmen were identified as outliers in any of the three metrics. Three box plots were generated showing the distribution of each metric with all data points falling within the 1.5x IQR bounds.
Comprehensive summary statistics were calculated for all 8 numeric columns in the batting dataset, and two visualizations were generated: a grouped bar chart showing all stats across metrics, and a scatter plot highlighting above-average performers. The mean batting average is 48.42 and mean strike rate is 183.37. Four batsmen — Abhishek Sharma, KL Rahul, Prabhsimran Singh, and Shreyas Iyer — stand out by exceeding the average in both key metrics.
A grouped bar chart has been generated comparing all 15 batsmen ranked across three key metrics — batting average, strike rate, and impact — where lower bars indicate better rankings. The chart lets you visually spot which players rank consistently near the top versus those who are specialists in just one area.
