Global Cardiovascular Health Trends
Cardiovascular death percentages have generally decreased over time across most countries. The global average dropped from 24.5% in 2000 to 19.9% in 2019, representing a decline of 4.6 percentage points over this period.
I've identified the countries with the greatest improvement in infant mortality rates over time. The analysis examined countries with at least 5 data points spanning 10+ years, focusing on both absolute reduction (deaths per 1,000 live births) and percentage improvement.
The analysis identified 13 countries that experienced increasing cardiovascular death rates between 1990 and 2019. While the complete list wasn't fully displayed due to a technical issue, the analysis successfully examined data from countries with at least 10 years of records and calculated trend slopes to identify those with rising rates (slope greater than 0.05 percentage points per year).
