The bar chart compares average total ecological footprint per capita (in global hectares) across UN regions for 2014. The visualization clearly shows which regions consume the most natural resources per person, with regions ranked from highest to lowest footprint.

There is a strong positive relationship between per capita GDP and total ecological footprint across countries. With a correlation coefficient of 0.728, wealthier nations tend to consume significantly more of the Earth's resources per person.
