I've identified the top 10 institutes from the NIRF 2020 rankings and analyzed their performance across five key metrics. Two detailed data tables have been generated showing the complete rankings and performance scores for these leading institutions.

The analysis successfully identified which cities have the highest concentration of top-100 ranked institutes. A bar chart was created showing the top 15 cities, with the number of elite institutes in each location displayed using a color-coded scale.

The analysis reveals which states have the highest average institutional scores and the most top-ranked institutes in the NIRF Rankings 2020. Two interactive visualizations were created: one showing the top 10 states by average institutional score, and another displaying states with the most institutes ranked in the top 25.

The analysis successfully identified institutes that excel in Outreach and Inclusivity (OI). Two detailed data tables were generated showing the top performers by OI score along with their overall rankings. The data reveals which institutions prioritize outreach and inclusivity initiatives and how this correlates with their overall performance in the rankings.

Teaching Learning Resources (TLR) has a strong relationship with institute rankings. The analysis reveals a correlation coefficient of -0.546, which indicates that higher TLR scores are strongly associated with better (lower numerical) ranks. This negative correlation is expected since Rank 1 is the best position.

The analysis identified the top 15 institutes with the highest Graduate Outcomes (GO) scores across India. The highest possible GO score of 100.0 was achieved by at least one institute. A comprehensive visualization shows these top performers with their locations, revealing geographic patterns in graduate employment success.

Among the top 30 highly-ranked institutes, I've identified those with disproportionately low perception scores compared to their overall academic performance. The analysis reveals institutes where the overall score significantly exceeds their public perception score (gap 20 points).

The analysis identified 10 institutes that demonstrate consistently high performance across all four parameters: TLR (Teaching, Learning & Resources), RPC (Research and Professional Practice), GO (Graduation Outcomes), and OI (Outreach and Inclusivity). These institutes were selected based on scoring in the top 20% (80th percentile or higher) across all metrics while maintaining strong consistency (low variation between scores).

The top-50 institutes are distributed across 18 different states in India, showing a relatively diverse geographic spread. Tamil Nadu emerges as the clear leader with 9 institutes, representing 18% of the top-50 institutions.

The analysis examined how four performance metrics (TLR, RPC, GO, and OI) correlate with PERCEPTION scores across institutes. Two visualizations were created: a bar chart showing the correlation strength of each metric with PERCEPTION scores, and a scatter plot displaying the relationship between the strongest correlating metric and PERCEPTION.

The analysis identified performance thresholds for lower-ranked institutes (those ranked above 50). The 75th percentile benchmarks were set at 43.55 for Research & Professional Practice (RPC) and 77.36 for Graduation Outcomes (GO). Four data tables were generated showing institutes categorized by their exceptional performance in these specific parameters.

The analysis identified 82 pairs of institutes that compete very closely in the rankings, with score differences of 0.5 points or less. These institutes are essentially tied in performance, making their rankings highly competitive.

The institutes are divided into three equal tiers based on their scores. The Top Tier includes institutes scoring 51.24 or higher (ranging up to 86.76), representing the top 33% with 33 institutes averaging 61.86. The Middle Tier encompasses scores between 45.80 and 51.24, containing 34 institutes with an average score of 48.06. The Bottom Tier consists of institutes scoring below 45.80 (down to 41.10), comprising 33 institutes with an average score of 43.62.

I've generated two data tables analyzing the weak parameters among institutes ranked 50-100. These tables provide a detailed breakdown of parameter performance, showing which metrics tend to fall below average for institutes in this ranking range.

I've created a comparison table showing how institutes in major metro cities (like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Pune) stack up against those in smaller cities across key performance metrics.
