There is a moderate positive correlation (r = 0.507) between daily study hours and CGPA, meaning more study time generally leads to higher grades. For consistently high performance (CGPA ≥ 8.0), the minimum study threshold is approximately 6.5 hours per day. The analysis explores how different diet types relate to students' academic performance (CGPA), stress levels, and gym activity. Two visualizations were generated: a grouped bar chart comparing average CGPA, stress scores, and gym hours across diet types, and a box plot showing the distribution of CGPA scores for each diet group. These charts make it easy to spot which dietary habits are associated with better grades, lower stress, or more physical activity.

Higher weekly gym hours do NOT meaningfully correlate with lower stress levels or better academic performance. The correlation coefficients are extremely close to zero across all three metrics, indicating no significant relationship between gym hours and these outcomes.
Among the four lifestyle factors analyzed, Study Hours per Day and Sleep Hours are by far the strongest predictors of high stress levels. Two bar charts and supporting data tables were generated to visualize these relationships across 1,000 students.
To achieve a CGPA above 8, students should aim for at least 80% attendance. The data shows that students who achieve CGPA 8 have a median attendance of 85.4% and a mean of 85.0%. The 25th percentile of this high-achieving group sits at 79.6%, meaning 75% of students with CGPA 8 attend at least 80% of the time. Notably, the attendance range where 50% or more of students achieve CGPA 8 starts at 95–100%, suggesting higher attendance significantly boosts your chances. The analysis compared students across different residence types on three key metrics: CGPA, Attendance Percentage, and Stress Level. Three data tables were generated showing the group-level breakdowns for each metric, allowing you to see how students living in different residence types (e.g., on-campus, off-campus, with family) compare on academic and wellbeing indicators.
Two visualizations were generated to profile students with CGPA above 9: a radar chart showing their normalized lifestyle metrics compared to the overall student population, and a grouped bar chart with exact average values for Study Hours/Day, Sleep Hours, Screen Time Hours, and Gym Hours/Week. These charts reveal how high-achieving students differ across all four lifestyle dimensions simultaneously.
Two visualizations were generated to explore stress levels and study hours across branches. The first chart shows a dual-axis bar and line plot comparing average stress levels (bars) and average study hours per day (line) for each branch, ranked from highest to lowest stress. The second is a scatter plot showing the relationship between study hours and stress levels for individual students, color-coded by branch with trend lines.
About 1 in 3 students (336 out of 1,000, or 33.6%) sleep fewer than 6 hours per night. Students who get at least 6 hours of sleep have a noticeably higher average CGPA of 7.66 compared to 6.65 for those sleeping less — a difference of about 1 full GPA point. A pie chart shows the sleep group breakdown, and a box plot visualizes the CGPA distribution for both groups, making the gap clearly visible.
Internal marks are a strong predictor of final CGPA. With a Pearson correlation of 0.868 and an R² of 0.754, internal marks explain about 75% of the variation in CGPA. The regression formula is: CGPA ≈ 0.0818 × Internal Marks + 1.92. Just 9 out of 1,000 students (0.9%) have a CGPA below 5. These students show distinct lifestyle patterns compared to their higher-performing peers. A bar chart has been generated comparing key lifestyle metrics between the two groups. Low-CGPA students study significantly less (1.82 vs 4.06 hours/day), sleep far less (3.94 vs 6.55 hours), attend fewer classes (69.1% vs 80.18%), and report higher stress levels (5.95 vs 4.57). The most common profile among low-CGPA students is a vegetarian diet and hostel residence.
