We analyzed 48 teams across dozens of performance metrics to find what actually drives success on the pitch. Possession, shooting efficiency, and goalkeeping quality emerge as the strongest predictors of points earned, while surprising findings reveal that discipline and team age matter far less than expected. The data shows clear patterns in how elite teams control matches and convert chances.
