Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Datastam never trains models on your data. In a private deployment your data stays in the environment you choose, and with a self-hosted model it never reaches an external AI provider.
Where is our data stored and processed?
Where you decide: a dedicated instance in Canadian data centres, your own cloud account, or your own data centre. We confirm residency for storage, backups, and model inference during scoping.
Which AI models can we use?
Canadian models from Cohere, open-weight models you host yourself, or Claude, GPT, and Gemini under your own agreements. We help you pick the right model for your data, budget, and policies.
Can we still use Statistics Canada data?
Yes. Datastam includes the same Statistics Canada integration as our public explorer, so your team can compare your own numbers with official statistics.
How does a pilot work?
We start with a 30-minute discovery call, then scope a fixed pilot with one team and one or two datasets. You see results on your own data before committing to a full rollout.
How is private deployment priced?
An annual licence based on the deployment option and the number of users, plus a fixed-scope pilot. Contact us for a quote.
